Be careful to avoid discharging any static electricity on the boards. If the TWR-LCD-RGB is not already assembled in one piece with the secondary elevator, firmly attach the TWR-LCD-RGB to the secondary elevator that was furnished with the TWR-LCD-RGB. Do this by placing the secondary elevator on a table with its black connectors labeled "Slot 1" through "Slot 4," touching the table. Then, with the TWR-LCD-RGB correctly seated in the connectors on the top side of the secondary elevator (these are labeled "C Side Expansion Port" and "D Side Expansion Port"), firmly press the printed circuit board (PCB) of the TWR-LCD-RGB downward to completely seat the connectors together. DO NOT PRESS ON ANY PART OF THE ACTUAL LCD DISPLAY -- ONLY PRESS ON THE PCB TO WHICH THE DISPLAY IS ATTACHED. See the photo on the web site to ensure that have correctly positioned the secondary elevator and the TWR-LCD-RGB and that you are pressing on the printed circuit board in the correct locations. Install the CR 2025 3V button battery in the battery holder labeled "Bat" on the underside of the TWR-K70F120M board. Please observe the polarity with the side of the battery labeled "+" touching the battery holder casing also labeled "+". Assemble the Freescale Tower with the TWR-K70F120M board on the top of the elevators. The top is the end of the elevators where the connectors on the elevators are closest to the edge. On both the primary and secondary elevators, the uppermost connector is labeled "Slot 4" and the lowermost connector is labeled "Slot 1." Make sure that the primary elevator (the one with white connectors) is connected to the end of the TWR-K70F120M board with a white stripe and labeled "primary." The other end of the TWR-K70F120M board has no stripe and is labeled "secondary." At this time, only assemble the primary elevator to the TWR-K70F120M. Assemble the Tower with the TWR-SER board at the bottom on the elevators. Again, make sure that the primary elevator is connected to the end of the TWR-SER board with the white stripe and labeled "primary." The other end of the TWR-SER board has no stripe and is labeled "secondary." At this time, only assemble the primary elevator to the TWR-SER. Now, with both the TWR-K70F120M and the TWR-SER assembled to the primary elevator, assemble the secondary elevator with the attached TWR-LCD-RGB display to both the TWR-K70F120M and the TWR-SER boards' secondary elevator connectors. Attach the USB cable that came with the TWR-K70F120M from the mini USB jack on the TWR-K70F120M to a USB jack on a Windows computer. Note that for some TWR-LCD-RGB modules to function correctly, an external 5 Volt USB power supply (or "charger") of at least 1 Amp output with a mini-B plug may be required to be plugged into the mini-B jack on the outside lower left edge of the Primary Elevator. Ensure that the three-position slide switch on the outside lower right edge of the Primary Elevator is moved to the uppermost "USB" position.
